- Tips:
* The die-cut apron would be a great addition to a cooking scrapbook page, holding a recipe card or even journaling.
* For a slightly more elegant look, do the apron in all white and the mitt in red, then accent the invitation with silver.
- Instructions:
- Apply adhesive to both sides of White cardstock.
- Peel backing off one side of cardstock. Adhere Red and White 12" x 12" Gingham fabric onto cardstock carefully, so Gingham pattern is straight up and down. Repeat on reverse side, making sure pattern is going in same direction and matches previous side.
- Cut apron out (be sure to keep Gingham pattern straight when placing on die).
- Fold in creased flaps. Fold apron pocket up and adhere with three-inch pieces of Scrappy Tape, making sure flaps attatch to apron body.
- Cut Silver spatula. Cut mitt from Kraft cardstock.
- Penstitch oven mitt with Black pen. Fold mitt over apron pocket. Adhere with Scrappy Tape.
- Place 1/8-inch eyelets into holes in top of apron.
- Thread 10-inch to 12-inch lengths of twine through holes. Tie double knots in each end. Cut off excess.
- Print invitation in Red on White cardstock. Leave inch between heading and information.
- Using paper trimmer, trim around words to 3 3/4" x 5 1/4". Cut 4" x 5 1/2" Black cardstock. Adhere behind White invitation.
- Cut three Kraft 1/2" x 1/2" squares. Adhere between title and information (where you left one-inch space). See example for placement.
- Adhere one Red button in center of each 1/2-inch square.
- Cut Black envelope from 14" x 9" cardstock (if larger cardstock is unavailable, use AccuCut standard A7 envelope #1).
- Cut Red and White Gingham envelope liner. Adhere to envelope. Assemble envelope.
