Tips:

The flip-flap is a graphic organizer that helps students organize and remember information. If you don't want to use all five flaps of this shape, trim the excess sections.

Instructions:

1. Cut enough construction paper flip-flap shapes so each student has one.
2. Ask students to draw one type of bacteria on each flap. Students also may download online drawings, print them and position one drawing on each flap.
3. Students then write or print description of each bacteria under correct flap.
