- Tips:
The AccuCut system will cut fun foam as well as leather to make great luggage tags.
- Instructions:
- Cut tag and band from suede.
- With scissors or paper trimmer cut a piece of plastic or transparency film in a 3 3/4" x 2 1/4" rectangle for the luggage tag opening.
- Cut a piece of white cardstock in the same size for the tag insert.
- Let campers decorate their white insert with markers, crayons or die cuts.
- Adhere plastic to inside of tag laying directly over the opening.
- Using adhesive line the very edges of the plastic and adher the campers art work ontop of the plastic.
- Fold tag together. Then using an awl, a paper piercer or a large needle and mallet, punch holes around the edges of the tag, but not on the fold.
- Use string, plastic lacing, or embroidery thread to sew around edges.
- To finish pull the strap through the slot and line up the holes.
- Fasten the strap by placing a brad through the strap holes.
- You can grommit or brad the hole to keep it together.
