Car-centration
Designed by Elaine Haven
Use this game to draw students into calculating math problems, reading number words or solving any variety of math challenges. Another idea: "Park" a car with an equation or number word on the left side of a desk, then ask a student to "drive" up a car with the correct answer.

- Marker -- Black
- Sticker Letters
- Construction Paper or Cardstock
- Tips:
Create a bulletin board with math equation cars and answers.
- Instructions:
1. Cut different colored cars. Outline with black marker. 2. Add equations, number words and other inquiry information to half of the cars, with answers on the other half.
To learn: Turn all cars face down, in random order. Ask students to take turns turning pairs of cars face up, trying to guess where the inquiry and matching answers are (like playing any "Concentration" matching game). When a student finds a correct pair, he or she takes the pair off of the table. The person with the most pairs at the end of the game wins.
