Celebrate the Chinese New Year by making this dragon stick puppet. Hold a classroom festival to kick off a unit related to international study.

• Dowel, 1/4"
• Tape
• Ribbon, 1/2" -- Red
• Glitter -- Gold
• Gems, 1/8" - Various Colors

Tips:

Hold a class parade to celebrate the Chinese New Year.

Instructions:

1. Cut red dragon.
2. Decorate dragon with glue stick and glitter. Outline with red marker.
3. Adhere gems to points of dragon. Glue on wiggle eye.
4. Tape dowel to dragon.
5. Tie red ribbon onto dowel.
