Let students help you create a book full of game activities. In a learning center, they can choose an activity to practice a variety of skills.

  • Construction Paper or Cardstock
Tips:

Divide the class into four or five groups. Ask each group to develop a game book for specific subject matters. The learning centers would then have a book of math games, reading games, spelling games and more.

Instructions:
  1. Cut game board shape in various colors.
  2. In pairs, students choose game board to glue to large sheet of construction paper in color of choice.
  3. Students choose theme for board and decorate with mini die cuts or drawings.
  4. Add lines between spaces with black marker.
  5. Students complete game by writing title and  “Start” and “Finish” in appropriate spaces on board.
  6. Staple game boards together to create book.
  7. Print title and glue to cover.
