Creative Masks

Children can explore their creative sides by decorating masks for mardi gras or anytime. Add colorful ribbon, sequins, glittery paint or yarn.

- Cardstock or Construction Paper
- Tips:
Use AccuCut's elastic bands to hold masks on young faces, or tape to craft sticks for handheld versions.
- Instructions:
- 1. Cut masks in various colors. To reinforce, cut from two sheets of cardstock glued together.
2. Provide glitter glue, paint, markers, sequins, buttons and other embellishments. Allow children to decorate own masks. 3. Punch hole in side of each mask. Show children how to thread ribbon or yarn of their choice through hole and tie. Curl ribbon.
