• Black Yarn or Cord
• Red Cardstock or Construction Paper
• Black Chalk
• Hole Punch, 3/8"
• Cotton Swab
• Lined Paper

Tips:

Use the Flag Book die to make an alternative book shape for this activity.

Instructions:

1. Cut two red scrolls for front and back covers.
2. With marker, add detail and title to one scroll. Add shading to scroll edges with black chalk and cotton swab.
3. Cut lined paper pages.
4. Punch two holes just below top edge of covers and pages.
5. Tie book together with black yarn or cord.
