Make this shape into community buildings when teaching about the neighborhood or ask students to decorate them to look like their own houses.
- Instructions:
- Scan graham crackers and print several color sheets so each child has six rectangles.
- Cut house from chipboard, glue along tabs and press together.
- Glue graham cracker copies to house. Trim to fit.
- Cut brown candies and squiggly border as shown. Outline brown candies with black marker.
- Cut white and red candy canes. Trim stripes from red canes and glue to white canes.
- Glue all candies and border to house.
- Let children cut shapes from foam for doors and windows. Glue to house.
- Create roof design with glitter glue.
