Tips:

Use the birthday cake book die to create a gift on each student's special day. Each classmate can contribute a page of good wishes.

Instructions:
  1. Cut red front and back covers.
  2. Cut white frosting portion only. Using scissors, cut along perforation lines and glue frosting to cake.
  3. Cut enough pages from lined paper so each child has one. 
  4. Cut story-related shapes. Allow children to use as illustrations on pages.
  5. Cut candles and embellish with variety of die shapes, marker, glitter or crayons.
  6. Adhere candles to frosting.
  7. Add title and embellish as desired. 
  8. Stack student-written pages between covers. Bind with paper fasteners, staples, pipe cleaners, etc.
