The Ladybug Life Cycle shapes can be used as an end of unit evaluation. Give each student a set of shapes which they must describe and place in the correct order.
- Instructions:
- Cut three 6 1/2" lime green circles and two green 6 1/2" circles.
- Cut three green and two lime green 8" circles. Adhere opposite colors together.
- Cut two ladybug bodies from black cardstock and two shells from red cardstock. Adhere shells to bodies. Adhere each body to center of two circle pages. Write book title on one page. Add wording on second page.
- Cut yellow eggs. Add detail with black marker. Adhere to second page of circles.
- Cut brown larva. Add detail with black marker. Adhere to third page of circles.
- Cut tan pupa. Add detail with brown and black markers. Adhere to fourth page of circles.
- Assemble book, punch holes and attach brads.
