Have children make this ladybug mask to use when they read and dramatize "The Grouchy Ladybug" by Eric Carle.

  • Cardstock -- Red, Black
  • Glue
Tips:

Give children additional mask parts and let their creativity run wild.
Instructions:
  1. Cut mask, antennas, and 12 circles out of Black cardstock. (circles are from the eyeholes in the mask), using the AccuCut machine.
  2. Cut ladybug wings out of Red cardstock.
  3. Glue together using picture as a guide.
  4. Place elastic strap through holes on sides of mask.
