A bag full of kitties is a curious sight, and students will love the fun of pulling them out to study the information written on them. AccuCut offers an entire catalog full of jumbo shapes to choose from for activities like this one. Use the same dies for room decoration and fundraising!

Tips:

Allow students to help you prepare this activity for a learning center.

Instructions:

1. Cut 20 jumbo cats in variety of colors and five Black cats.
2. Leave Black cats blank. Write skills on other 20 cats, such as: "Historical Facts", "Multiplication Problems", "Color Identification", "Number or Color Words", "Nouns or Verbs", "True or False", "Animals and Habitats".
3. Print "Let the Cat Out of the Bag" on Yellow paper. Use cat die to cut cat shape around words. Outline cat with Black marker. Glue to front of bag.
4. Students take turns in a center pulling a cat out of bag and saying answer. Students get one point for every correct answer. Each turn ends when student draws out Black cat. Next student pulls a cat out of bag. When finished, all cats go back into bag and game starts again.
