Tell the children the story about the shepherd who searches for his lost sheep, then have them each make a 3-D sheep. Their sheep will remind them that God loves each of us as a shepherd loves his sheep, and if we are lost He will come looking for us. (Matthew 18:10-14)

Instructions:
  1. Cut white cardstock sheep--enough for all students in class.
  2. Have student color the ears, legs and muzzles of the sheep with black markers or crayons.
  3. Ask students to adhere cotton balls to both sides of sheep body, leaving ears, muzzle and legs exposed. It will take approximately 18 cotton balls for each sheep.
  4. Assemble sheep by sliding pre-cut slots together.
