May Day Surprise Bag

For May Day this year, let students "pick" wildflowers to glue onto the grassy sides of an AccuCut die-cut bag. It's cheerful and fun!

• Colored Pencils
• Construction Paper

Tips:

Students can share May Day baskets with one another, give to teachers or they can deliver handmade baskets to others in the community.

Instructions:

1. Cut yellow box.
2. Cut green grass. Add detail with colored pencils. Glue to box.
3. Cut flowers in variety of colors. Adhere to box. Draw stems with colored pencils.
4. Cut green polka dot flower centers. Glue to flowers.
5. Spell out sentiment with sticker letters, colored pencils or markers.
6. Assemble box, gluing where needed.
