Learning to count money is challenging for students, but practicing the skill will lead to mastery. Students match puzzle pieces stamped with coins to the middle piece with the correct value in this math game.

- Cardstock or Construction Paper -- Various Colors

- Black Marker or Sticker Numbers
- Tips:
Adhere felt or flexible magnet to back of paper before cutting to make puzzles you can display on a felt board or magnetic white board.
- Instructions:
1. Glue cardstock to matboard. Cut several puzzles. Assemble, using various colors in each puzzle. 2. Write different coin values on center pieces. 3. Using rubber stamps on puzzle pieces, stamp different coin configurations that add up to center value.
To Learn: Separate puzzle pieces, and ask students to put them back together so pieces add up to center values.
