Retelling any story is always fun. Read "Mrs. McNosh and the Great Big Squash" by Sarah Weeks to the class then have students move the felt characters around on a flannel board to retell the story.

Tips:

Add this flannel board set to a learning center and allow the students to retell the story to each other.

Instructions:

1. Cut each shape from desired color felt. Add details with fabric paint.
2. Use the story as a guide for placement of shapes onto flannel or felt covered board.
