We Love Our Teacher Basket

Nurture the teacher-student connection with this fruitful writing activity. Each student writes why they love teacher on an apple for the basket.

Other Materials:

• Ribbon
• Scissors
• Hole Punch
• Glue
• Construction Paper
• Fine Marker -- Black

Tips:

Younger students can dictate their thoughts for older children or adults to write on apples.

Instructions:

1. Cut basket. Assemble. Add details and wording with black marker.
2. Punch hole just below point on each section of basket. Tie small piece of ribbon through each hole.
3. Cut red, green, and brown apples. Trim stems from brown apples and adhere to red apples. Trim leaves from green apples and adhere to red apples. Add details with black marker.

To Learn: Each student can use a marker, pencil or crayon to write their feelings about the teacher on an apple.
